they’re an astronaut that was stranded on a planet for who knows how long, with the only thing keeping them alive for all those years being their suit. while it has kept them alive for years, they’re body still ages an decomposes, leaving them just a literal skeleton that has somewhat melded with the suit
like, yes, the humans SURVIVED the human covenant war, but WON is a very strong word. so is war. a war implies like, there’s semi even fighting. there wasn’t, like, ever.
my point is the covenant defeated itself and humans are super dumb to think that they did shit other than make master chief halo man, who saved the galaxy like three times.
like imagine all the more interesting stories we’d get if we weren’t so human centric!
